KINDRED, N.D. – Alex Cotton said his performance against Kindred on Friday, Aug. 27 was the best of his career.
The 6-foot-1 senior corner-back had multiple pass breakups, 9.5 tackles and a key interception in H-CV’s 26-20 win over Kindred (1-1) at Jerlow Field.
“Parker (Gallagher) started off the game with a great interception and we just got momentum swings there,” Cotton said after the win.
“I got a couple pass breakups and that interception really felt good.”
Cotton’s lone interception in the fourth quarter set up a 7-yard touchdown run by junior running back Cole Hebl that gave the Burros (1-1) a 26-14 lead with 3:45 to play.
