Rural BUXTON – Gannon Limke’s first two touchdown catches of the season couldn’t have come at a better time.
The 6-foot-4 senior hauled in two touch-down passes of 20 and 29 yards in the Burros’ (2-1) 28-26 victory over Harvey-Wells County (2-1) on Friday, Sept. 3 at Randy Vigen Field.
“Gannon’s tall already and then with his length it makes (it even tougher on his opponents),” H-CV head coach Scott Olsen said. “He makes those catches most of the time.”
Limke indeed made those catches as his only two receptions went for scores.
Junior quarterback Riley Olsen threw his first career touchdown pass with 11:51 to play in the second quarter after he rolled left and found Limke in the back of the end zone.
