Head coach Tony Uglem and the 17 MayPort Area skaters get to experience a rare opportunity Wednesday.
The Ice Dawgs were invited to the 2022 West Fargo Winter Classic at The Lights Outdoor Ice Rink and are set to face-off at 1 p.m. against Williston.
“Great work from our program and athletic director to get us into it,” Uglem said Tuesday.
“It’s kind of a once-in-a-lifetime thing for a hockey player to play an outdoor game, so we are all super excited to get out there and hopefully put out a great effort.”
