MAYVILLE – Freshman Maysa Larson made the most of her second career start Monday.

Filling in for injured starter Kate Bradner, Larson teamed up with fellow freshman Rylee Satrom to propel MayPort-CG to a dominating 57-22 win over Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page.

Larson scored 10 points and Satrom poured in a game-high 18 as the Patriots relied on a stifling half-court press to build a 43-10 halftime lead and never looked back.

“It was a good win for us,” MPCG head coach Sean Moore said.

“We were getting turnovers with our press in the first half like we wanted to and that led to some easy transition baskets for us.”
