Neil O. Nelson

We all have claims to fame, right?

We also love dropping names of close, personal friends: celebrities, politicians, dignitaries, professional athletes.

I mean, some people have lists of famous people that are a mile long.

These same people have been everywhere.

There isn’t anything they haven’t done.

Their personal records read like the latest edition of “Guinness World Records.”

My humble claims to fame pale in comparison. I’m told people with some kind of celebrity status, when hearing my name mentioned, generally run for cover.

“Tell me when he’s gone.”
