The Hillsboro-Central Valley Burros will run out onto the artificial turf inside the Fargodome shortly before noon today to try to capture their third state championship in the past five years. It’s the fourth time the Burros have played in a state title game since 2017.

Olsen and the Burros (11-1) enter today’s championship game against Kindred riding an 11-game winning streak after blowing out Bishop Ryan in the Class 11B semifinals at home on Saturday.

Hillsboro-Central Valley jumped on the Lions early in Saturday’s matchup and built a 41-0 lead with two minutes remaining in the first half. How dominant were the Burros in their final home playoff game of the season?
