Ben Miller

Benjamyn “Ben” Layne Miller, 43, Hillsboro, died April 11, 2021 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo surrounded by family.

Ben was born to Rodney and Joyce (Hanson) Miller in Tioga, ND on January 3, 1978. He grew up in Tioga and graduated from Tioga School in 1996. During his time in school, he enjoyed making memories with friends and participating in Future Farmers of America.

Although somewhat reserved, Ben had a kind heart, gentle smile and a great sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him.

Ben worked at Johnson Culvert and Minnkota Windows for many years before moving to Hillsboro in 2007 to farm with family, which he did until his passing. Ben enjoyed the outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing, or spending time at the shooting range. As a family, they enjoyed traveling and catching a race, basketball game or any other type of sporting event. Ben also enjoyed supporting his sons, nieces, and nephews in all of their activities. He was a self-proclaimed “Lego Master”. He especially enjoyed spending time with his sons, Bryce and Jacob.
