After a year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Traill County Historical Society is set to host its annual fall festival Sept. 25 at Heritage Park in Hillsboro with an expanded slate of attractions.
While kids games and food once again will be offered, the main draw this year is likely to be a threshing bee featuring a 1919 Rumely Oil Pull tractor.
Starting at 1 p.m., the thresher will be located west of the historic St. Olaf Chapel and Bloomfield No. 1 school buildings along Fifth Street Southwest.
Demonstrations of the thresher will begin on the hour at 1 and 2 p.m., wrapping up by 2:30 p.m.
