Representatives from Valley United Co-op will be kicking off an eight-city, two-week food drive to help communities in eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota starting Wednesday, Jan. 25.
A.J. Andresen, grain operations manager for the Reynolds-based grain and agronomy center, presented plans for the multi-state food drive to members of the Hillsboro Business Association Jan. 11.
“Ideally, we would love to fill up a trailer with food multiple times,” Andresen told a dozen HBA members gathered inside the Hillsboro Vets Club for their monthly meeting.
“We’ve already had some big commitments that have been made for donations.”
