The Traill County Board of Commissioners will require county employees to resume normal office hours at the Traill County Courthouse starting Monday.
Despite the objections of one commissioner, board members voted Tuesday to bring back workers to the courthouse after giving department heads the discretion to allow staff members to work from home for nearly 10 months.
The restrictions on visitors to the Traill County Courthouse in Hillsboro – prompted by concerns over the spread of the new coronavirus – will remain in effect, however.
County commissioners Les Amb of Portland and Larry Young of Mayville, who have been increasingly vocal about requiring workers to return in their offices, led the charge prior to Tuesday’s vote.
