Jessi Hegg has been named program director of Mayville State University Child Development Programs.

Hegg had been serving as interim director of the program for the last several weeks.

Hegg has been employed in numerous advancing positions with Mayville State’s child care program for the past 10 years. 

Prior to serving as interim director, she was the professional development coordinator for the program’s Hillsboro, Grand Forks and Central Valley sites.

Hegg has significant knowledge of the Head Start Program Performance Standards, the Head Start Act, child care regulations, and the Mayville State Child Development Programs.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from MSU in 2009.
