The investors behind a planned microbrewery and beer distribution center in downtown Hillsboro have released more details about the up-and-coming business.
Terry Sando, one of the brewery’s owners and president of the Hillsboro City Commission, requested two small loans to pay down interest on the project during a Jan. 21 Zoom call with the Traill County Economic Development Commission.
During the call, Sando said Goose River Brewing will become home to a 15-barrel microbrewery once the facility has been completed along Caledonia Avenue.
Sando has been partnering with the former owners of Flatland Brewery in West Fargo, which had a three-barrel microbrewery, to oversee the new site in Hillsboro.
