Taxpayers in the Central Valley School District may not see a noticeable difference in their school properties tax statements in 2022.

Superintendent Jeremy Brandt told the Central Valley School Board on Tuesday that he expects the district’s taxable valuation to increase less than 1 percent next year.

Although the numbers still could be adjusted, preliminary estimates released by Grand Forks and Traill counties indicate the sprawling rural district should see a taxable valuation of $14.7 million, which will generate $1.03 million in property taxes.
