Abby Magnuson and her Hillsboro-Central Valley teammates came out firing Tuesday against Climax-Fisher inside the Hillsboro Events Center.

Magnuson drained back-to-back 3-pointers early on and finished with a game-high 26 points to lead the Burros to a 62-49 win over the Knights.

The Burros hit four of their first five 3-pointers in the first quarter and cruised to the 13-point win for their seventh victory of the season in Tuesday night’s border battle.

“I thought we played pretty well overall,” said H-CV head coach Tony Guttormson.

“Climax-Fisher hasn’t won a lot of games, but they have been putting up points. So it was a team we couldn’t sleep on.”
