Owens, Kozojed lead Burros at team qualifier in Carrington

CARRINGTON, N.D. – Hillsboro-Central Valley came up just short Monday at the Region 2 team qualifier despite three golfers having their best rounds of the season. 

The Burros finished fourth at Crossroads Golf Course in Carrington with a score of 418. 

Kindred won the team title with a 356 and Carrington came in second with a 373.

H-CV was 22 strokes off from beating Oak Grove for a state-qualifying score. 

“I was proud of the way our girls competed throughout the day,” H-CV head coach Garth Limke said. “Things are looking up for Burros girls golf.”
