For the first time in program history, two Hillsboro-Central Valley baseball players were named to the all-state team in 2019.

Senior Colton Anderson and junior Patrick Limke received second-team all-state honors after helping the Burros reach the Region 2 title game for the second consecutive season.

“It’s the first time in the history of the program that we’ve been able to get anyone on the all-state team,” H-CV head coach Nathan Walsh said Monday.

“Lots of guys get left off the list every year that are deserving. There was just no way (Anderson and Limke) were going to be. They earned it.”

Limke led H-CV in hits (27), singles (22) and finished third in batting average (.458) to go along with his eight RBIs in 18 games.
