JAMESTOWN, N.D. – The state Class B boys golf tournament got under way Tuesday under sunny skies at Jamestown Country Club.

Hillsboro-Central Valley was in third place after day one with a 52-over par team score.

“Day one was up and down,” Burros head coach Ryan Nielsen said late Tuesday.

“I think we probably shot about where I thought we would be. We have a shot at third place, which is our goal.”
