After playing back-to-back games against Class 2A West teams, Hillsboro-Central Valley has one more non-region game before league play opens.

That game takes place at 7 p.m. tonight (Friday) in Beulah against the newly No. 2-ranked Miners.

“It’ll be a long road trip,” H-CV head coach Scott Olsen said about the four-hour-plus bus ride.

“But we are more focusing on who we are playing than how we are getting there.”

The No. 1-ranked Burros will face a Beulah team that runs a single-wing offense, which is a fairly uncommon system.
