COLFAX, N.D. – Jordan Sherva missed MayPort-CG’s first two games of the season.

Last Friday, the senior running back reminded Patriots fans what they were missing without him in the lineup.

Sherva scored on a 29-yard opening-drive touchdown run and rumbled for 130 yards to lead MPCG to a decisive 45-8 win over Richland in Colfax.

Patriots head coach Adam Sola said the victory, which improved MPCG’s record to 5-1, was easily the best start-to-finish performance of the season for the playoff-bound club.

“I told the boys after the game it’s the most complete game we’ve played,” Sola said.
