“With informal becoming the new normal, why not try out a hearty and filling dip for dinner?” suggests Kellogg’s Crackers Director of Brand Marketing Zach Wyer. “Whether you’re enjoying a solo dinner on a cozy couch or gathering around, you can skip the prep work of that intricate meal and dip into a relaxing night with minimal effort.”

Ready to get in on the dip for dinner fun? Here are some suggestions for making it happen!

Tip 1: Optimize available foods

Short on time? In many cases, you should be able to concoct a tasty dinner dip based on items already in your kitchen. Many of the best savory dips start with either mayonnaise, beans, or dairy items, such as sour cream, milk, yogurt, or soft cheese and end with dry seasonings. For example, a cup of plain Greek yogurt blended with 1/2 teaspoon each of garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, and dried parsley, with salt to taste, makes an easy dip with items you likely already have stocked.

Tip 2: Check in with Chenoweth

Follow the lead of America’s singing and dancing cooking queen Kristin Chenoweth and pair Town House Dippers with the scrumptious, but simple, “Cheno-Worth It Dip” recipe. She says the dish often saves her when she has no time for lengthy dinner prep, cooking and cleanup. “With the help of Town House Dippers, you don’t even need silverware,” she points out.

What you’ll need:

Town House Dippers

1 1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream

1 envelope of dry vegetable soup mix

1 cup mayonnaise

1 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

1 package (10 ounces) of frozen chopped spinach

1/3 cup seeded and chopped tomatoes

1/4 cup slivered almonds

5 slices of crisp-cooked crumbled bacon

Directions: Fold together sour cream, mayonnaise and soup mix in a medium bowl. Stir in cheddar cheese, spinach, tomatoes, almonds and bacon. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Serve with Town House Dippers for the perfect, easy meal.

Tip 3: Incorporate different cuisines

Don’t hesitate to look for recipes that incorporate a wide variety of seasonings and ingredients. Part of the fun of dipping is combining multiple flavors, discovering which are your favorites and determining which ones you want to adjust to make them even better.
