Warren A. Lovas, 58, Wahpeton, N.D., died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, at St. Francis Nursing Home, Breckenridge, Minn.

Warren Allen Lovas was born Aug. 16, 1961 to John and Florence (Bjelde) Lovas in Mayville, N.D. He graduated from high school in Fargo, N.D., then attended North Dakota State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting. He had several jobs in the Fargo area and later moved to Mantador, N.D. where he worked at Dakota Magic Casino. He then moved to Wahpeton, where he worked for Twin Town Taxi Co until his health declined.

He is survived by his sisters, Von Da Lee (Dennis) Grandalen, Wahpeton and Mary (Kenneth) Beckman, Hillsboro, N.D.; a brother, Larry (Jackie) Lovas, Blanchard; several nieces and nephews; and his significant other, Audrey Montrey and her family. 

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, John and Florence Lovas and a brother, Lynn Lovas. 

A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 1, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Hillsboro, at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Vertin-Munson Funeral Home.
