Mark V. Messner, of Liberty Hill, Texas passed away on Jan. 17, 2020 at the age of 52. He was born on Jan. 16, 1968 in Devils Lake, N.D. to parents Vern and Cheryle (McLean) Messner.

Mark attended high school in Hillsboro, N.D. and graduated in 1986, and then went on to serve four years in the Army and spent time stationed in Darmstadt, Germany. After his military service Mark attended the University of North Dakota and graduated with a degree in Aviation Management, and obtained his private pilot license. 

He started his career administrating the airport in Bemidji, Minn. before deciding to move on to working in the computer industry. Mark worked at numerous companies including Micron and Dell, and was currently employed at PC Connections, where he worked in sales of SANS.

Mark had many hobbies including playing electric and classical guitars, fishing, pheasant and deer hunting with his family, riding motorcycles, flying planes and was an avid weightlifter\bodybuilder.

Mark is survived by his daughter Liesl; his mother Cheryle Messner; his brother Jason Messner and wife Angie; and their sons Ryan and Owen. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Vern; and grandparents Roy and Gilma McLean and Clarence and Inga Messner.
