The Halstad (Minn.) Economic Development Authority has asked for the public’s help in selecting an updated logo for the city.

EDA officials lined Halstad mailboxes with postcards Tuesday asking residents to vote on one of two logo designs created by Red River Valley Design of Moorhead, Minn.

Charles Aarestad, president of Halstad EDA, said the organization wanted to give the city’s current logo a face-lift with a more contemporary design.

“Our current logo needed a revamp, one that would be easier to use on mobile devices, phones and tablets,” Aarestad said Wednesday.
