Jordahl Custom Homes’ plan for new housing options in Hillsboro has cleared another hurdle – but more hurdles lay ahead, city officials noted.

The city’s Planning and Zoning Commission heard public comment Monday night on the final version of a plat for Jordahl’s First Resubdivision, a 5-acre parcel of newly annexed farmland now zoned for multi-family housing.

The plat will set the parameters of how the property will be developed and configured, noted Hillsboro city auditor Matt Mutzenberger.

The plat approval process next will move to the city commission’s agenda Monday, Nov. 19 for a final public hearing.
