Authorities arrested a West Fargo, N.D., man following a high-speed motorcycle chase Wednesday along Interstate 29 south of Hillsboro.

Lt. Troy Hischer of the North Dakota Highway Patrol said state troopers attempted to stop two sport bike-style motorcycles for traffic violations about 11 miles south of Hillsboro at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday.

The motorcycle drivers fled in the northbound lanes of I-29 at speeds estimated in excess of 130 miles per hour.

Hischer said one of the drivers attempted to exit I-29 at the Mile Marker 100 off-ramp but lost control of his motorcycle and entered the east ditch.

Ethan Suhr, 22, was taken into custody and transported to the Traill County Jail.

Suhr has been charged with fleeing, driving under suspension and operating a vehicle without liability insurance.

Authorities are continuing to search for the other driver in connection with the chase.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Highway Patrol at 701-328-1081.
